Mellow and Yellow in Izamal

Everyone needs to experience the mellow, yellow, charm of Izamal. Besides the very obvious fact that the town is almost completely yellow (except for the Pemex gas station; they didn’t get the memo) there are artisans to visit, a wonderful and high end gift shop featuring all locally made and sourced crafts of the finest quality and one of the best Yucatecan food restaurants in all of Yucatan: Miriam Azcorra’s Kinich.

Lawson’s will take you there and again, we will not be just going there and back like any old tour company. We will explore the surrounding area and include a visit to the state’s most colorful and photogenic cemetery, a true jewel. There is an abandoned hacienda.
